What a wonderful start it has been!

My very first opportunity to wear the “Big Gong” was at the Tiverton Tangent 55 AGM and what a special moment that was.
Then, later the very same day, I had the honour once again at Wellington 16’s AGM. It truly is such a privilege to wear it and represent this amazing organisation.
Another day brought another visit, this time alongside Josie Blackburn IPP, where we both had the pleasure of speaking. Josie delivered her final visit speech beautifully and it was my third AGM in a row! What an incredible group of ladies we are lucky enough to call friends.
Already, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me through gifts of flowers, plants and a beautiful friendship candle. Tangent really is a Friendship Club in every sense of the word.
I even managed a lovely day off with my amazing husband Rod — my constant support and truly “By My Side”. Let’s face it, every girl needs a Rod! As we wandered amongst the stunning tulips in Cornwall, I behaved very well… Ginny did not pick any!
I also enjoyed a fantastic weekend away with my fabulous Exec team. Three days of meetings meant lots of hard work and productivity but there was also plenty of laughter and fun during our evenings together. Friendship and teamwork really do go hand in hand.

A huge thank you must also go to the lovely Ade, who did an incredible job creating the decals for my car. Keep your eyes peeled for me out and about! If you spot me driving around, please take a photo and send it over, making sure to tell me where you saw me. Your picture could even appear in the magazine or a future blog!
